Sam encourages clients to sit for him in his studio at the Fenway Studios in Boston.  To complete a portrait he usually needs between 6 and 10 sittings of several hours in length.  He prefers to paint from life but often makes use of photographs when necessary.  Even if photos are used he will need at least one or two sittings from life to get the skin tones as close as possible.

Pricing

50% of the price is due prior to the commencement of the painting; the remainder is due upon completion.
